赤粒藝術此次新生代水墨聯展，參與的藝術家除了有少數的更迭，基本上，延續過去一貫的基調。幾年來，觀察他們在這期間的一些創作與進展，可看出漸漸浮出各自的方向與面貌，也可以同時顯現這一世代面對水墨所呈現出的樣貌與過去己經有着顯明的分野——過去水墨教育中的主流文人畫筆墨觀已不再是主導創作的單一途徑、他們回到繪畫性的探索，對傳統的東方媒材重新作更廣泛的融合與嘗試，尤其是熟紙的運用提升了更多面向的描繪能力也改變了生宣的迷思與侷限。同時，融入更多當代的視覺語彙與手法、以及選擇了更貼近自身文化與生活的題材。這些，都可觀察出他們正在重構不同的視角與表現方式。

Except for a few changes in the participating artists, the joint exhibition of new-generation ink painting of chili art continues the consistent tone of the past. Over the past few years, observing their creations and progress during this period, we can see that their respective directions and appearances have gradually emerged. At the same time, the appearance of ink paintings presented by this generation is different from that of the past. ——The mainstream literati painting brush and ink concept in the past ink painting education is no longer the only way to dominate creation. They return to the exploration of painting and make more extensive integration and attempts with traditional oriental media, especially cooked paper. Its application has improved the depiction ability in more aspects and also changed the myths and limitations of raw rice paper. At the same time, it incorporates more contemporary visual vocabulary and techniques and chooses themes closer to its own culture and life. All these show that they are reconstructing different perspectives and ways of expression.
